EDGEWOOD TOD
Located adjacent to the Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA Station, this two-story building was part of a larger Transit Oriented Development (TOD) to revitalize and bring a mix of uses to the underutilized area around the transit station.
The building accommodates two restaurant tenants on the ground level, while providing well-lit offices and a yoga studio on the upper floor. The site was designed to integrate this building with the nearby housing developments and other commercial spaces. A large patio allows for patrons to enjoy the landscape and open green areas, enhancing the neighborhood activity, safety and encouraging more interest in future TOD.
