Gabby Black
Designer III, CADwitch
An Atlanta native, Gabby joined Studio SOGO after spending 7 years in New Orleans. After receiving her Master’s degree from Tulane’s School of Architecture in 2017, she spent two years working at an architecture firm specializing in historic preservation.
While working in New Orleans, she spent site visits in old, French Quarter buildings where she learned to appreciate the lasting details of historic structures. She enjoyed the merging of old and new, working to maintain the historic integrity of buildings while implementing new technology like 3D scanning.
Since beginning work at Studio SOGO in 2019, Gabby has led her team in commercial, residential, multi-family, and K-12 projects that incorporate collaboration, modernity, and interior design.
In her free time, she is eating all things vegan, running the Beltline, and annoying friends and family with her architecture fun facts.
