Studio SOGO joined a talented team of designers to renovate HGTV’s Alison Victoria’s loft in one of Atlanta’s historic Cabbagetown buildings, the Fulton Bag & Cotton Mills. Originally built in 1881, the old cotton mill plant has been converted into apartments and lofts, one of which our team had the opportunity to reimagine.
In collaboration with Alison Victoria and Kristy Yarbrough, this project came to life by expanding the mezzanine bedroom, providing a complete update of all the finishes and fixtures, and reconfiguring the tired kitchen and bathroom. Through the integration of curated, antique pieces and custom artwork with original architectural elements like the exposed brick, patinated wood posts, and spiral staircase, this cozy loft has a been given a new and luxurious BoHo vibe.
This project was featured in Windy City Rehab (S03 Ep04) and House Beautiful’s February-March cover.
